GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Develops customer relationships, in highly competitive environments, to evolve and maintain long term, stable, and profitable business relationships. Responsible for all customer care activities to ensure loyalty and commitment to SaskTel International. Generates new revenue and maintains existing revenues from SaskTel International client base. Accountable for managing all MICA and related software product agreements. Accountable for managing all MICA related conferences, workshops and communication.

 

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Ensures continuing revenue from SaskTel International clients by managing the strategic relationships and SI software products to meet the requirements of MICA members and the market place.
2. Responsible to market SI products, services, expertise and capabilities to existing clients, to establish prime executive and non- executive contacts for development of key business relationships. Researches software products for potential marketability by SI.
3. Responsible to understand and influence client strategies through interviews, meetings, presentations and client education to develop a position for SI software products, services, expertise and capabilities to maximize competitive advantage.
4. Responsible for the delivery, presentation and interpretation of financial, commercial, and technical proposals to the SI client base in direct competition with major software vendors.
5. Negotiates new MICA contract fees and schedules while managing the software implementation within the restraints and opportunities of each contract.
6. Facilitates joint strategic planning to share short and long term goals and objectives and identify opportunities.
7. Responsible to develop post-marketing initiatives to provide clients with an overall system architecture and provide effective system designs to meet their needs.
8. Responsible to maintain comprehensive technical understanding at the design/engineering level of present and emerging technologies and technological change for clients.
9. Provides common point of contact for all MICA and software related customers.
10. Manages the Sales Support Manager position and coordinates all MICA related communication with client base such as newsletters, web site etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, and/or a combination of post-secondary and work experience in either sales or project management.
2. Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and professional appearance.
3. Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with cultural sensitivities.
4. Personal computer skills, preferably on an Intel-based environment.
5. Ability to travel.
