GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountable to be a Business leader, driver of change, and maintain expert level knowledge across Business Sales & Solutions to enable SaskTel to successfully achieve its revenue objectives and support SaskTel being an industry leading ICT Company. Accountable to provide leadership, consulting, and Tier I support tools to the organization for the suite of services and tools used by Business Sales & Solutions. Instrumental in enabling sales teams to achieve revenue and customer experience targets through consultation on Service Development, IS Projects, and evolving technology and tools to enable standard process.


SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Accountable for direction and adherence to standard business processes in the development, support, sale and delivery of Business Sales & Solutions tools, products and services.
  2. Supports Service Development in the timely development/implementation of process/procedure, tools & systems in Business Sales & Solutions. Interfaces with the CPMO, Information Systems, and BS&S Stakeholders as required for the development, delivery and support of these tools and processes and procedures.
  3. Accountable to prime numerous corporate projects that impact Business Sales & Solutions.
  4. Serves as the Business Sales & Solutions liaison in/out of Consumer Sales as it relates to the contact center technologies used within BS&S.
  5. Assists the sales teams in the development of business strategies.
  6. Mentors the sales teams in the sale/delivery of business solutions to our customers. Assists with determining training requirements for Business Sales & Solutions.
  7. Leverages and manages relationships with vendors and partners for delivery of business solutions and training programs/content.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and internally at all levels up to and including corporate executive.
  2. Demonstrated ability to conduct effective needs analysis of a customer s business operation and drivers.
  3. Thorough knowledge and experience in marketing and sales practices, processes, and techniques.
  4. Experience with telecommunications industry technologies, tools, processes, applications and the best in class standards surrounding them.
  5. Excellent analytical, planning, organizing, and coordinating abilities.
  6. Strong technology background including expertise in managed, hosted, and cloud applications.
  7. Post-secondary education is preferred.
  8. Project management experience and formal training would be an asset.

  • Responsible for negotiation, execution and/or enforcement of contracts for obtaining goods and services related to the area of responsibility. 
  • Accountable for proactively identifying, inspiring, and acting on opportunities to innovate and drive process improvements, develop growth initiatives, and improve revenue and/or reduce costs. Driving valuable customer experiences and employee engagement, improving sustainability, and demonstrates commitment to the communities that we serve. 

 

This is an on-site position located at the location(s) above. The successful candidate must be located within the province of Saskatchewan. Out of province/country candidates must be willing to relocate. Flexible work opportunities, in province, may be available.
