Customer Service Support Manager-Business Support

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountable for effectively coordinating, leading  and directing clerical administrative support services within CS Operations. Accountable for the effective, efficient, and confidential support to ensure an organized operation. Accountabilities include improving workflows and processes, leading clerical personnel in multiple locations , reporting and analysis of operational metrics, all aspects of administrative support, event planning, team recognition and social events and completion of special projects assigned by the Directors Provides support to CS Operations Director team.

 

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Manage a variety of administrative support functions including:
  • Assist the Directors with all administrative functions.
  • Assist in ensuring the financial success of the department by managing specific elements of the operating budget, as well as implementing cost reduction initiatives and operating efficiencies.
2. Lead clerical personnel.
3. Work directly and independently with management team to provide administrative support
  • Manage and oversee CS Operations events, includes event planning, invites, scheduling, etc.
4. Participate as an active member of the management team by contributing to the group decision making processes.
5. Plan and implement team/social/recognition events..
6. Accountable for completion of special projects assigned by the Directors.  Enhances business decisions and actions by assisting other team members in special projects through the collection, investigation, and analysis of business information, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and reporting effectiveness. and other assistance, as required.
7. Accountable for contract management within area of responsibility.

 

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Post secondary education in Business/Office Administration with extensive experience in an administrative role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Must display broad conceptual skills and the ability to balance numerous activities while working with short deadlines.
3. Must demonstrate ability to be a strong team player within the division and with corporate internal and external partners.
4. Ability to multi-task combined with knowledge and experience with personal computers.
5. A Strong organizational and problem solving skills along with the ability to pay close attention to detail.
6. Extensive knowledge of SaskTel corporate structure, departmental functionality and corporate policy and procedure.
7. Effective Communications skills, both verbal and written.
8. Must demonstrate aptitude for the direction, leadership, management and training of staff.
9. Must possess an aptitude to operate within the Collective Agreement

  • Responsible for negotiation, execution and/or enforcement of contracts for obtaining goods and services related to the area of responsibility. 
  • Accountable for proactively identifying, inspiring, and acting on opportunities to innovate and drive process improvements, develop growth initiatives, and improve revenue and/or reduce costs. Driving valuable customer experiences and employee engagement, improving sustainability, and demonstrates commitment to the communities that we serve. 

 

This is an on-site position located at the location(s) above. The successful candidate must be located within the province of Saskatchewan. Out of province/country candidates must be willing to relocate. Flexible work opportunities, in province, may be available.
