In this role, you’ll help shape SaskTel’s workforce by delivering end‑to‑end talent acquisition services that support business goals and future hiring needs. Partnering closely with Talent Acquisition leaders and hiring managers, you’ll lead the recruitment of entry‑level and part‑time roles and support student hiring and work placement programs. You’ll build strong relationships across the organization, provide guidance to candidates and managers throughout the hiring process, and ensure a positive, engaging candidate experience through timely communication and feedback. From career fairs and networking events to proactive pipeline development, you’ll play an important role in promoting SaskTel as an employer of choice across Saskatchewan.
 

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Works closely with Talent Acquisition Managers on hiring entry level and part time positions.
2. Consults with hiring managers to identify talent needs and sources candidates through appropriate channels.
3. Builds and sustains effective internal partnerships with client groups by consistently meeting or surpassing Talent Acquisition customer service expectations.
4. Responsible for ensuring full compliance with all corporate policies and provincial regulations, including advising and educating hiring managers about these matters as necessary throughout the hiring process.
5. Responsible for implementing effective talent acquisition strategies that align with both immediate and future hiring needs to achieve corporate objectives.
6. Provides advice to employees and outside applicants about job openings and the qualifications required for roles at SaskTel.
7. Proactively ensures a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication, feedback, and guidance throughout the recruitment process. Seeks feedback from candidates to continually improve recruitment practices.
8. Develops and maintains relationships with potential candidates to ensure a steady pipeline for current and future vacancies.
9. Participates in career fairs, skills development workshops and networking events. Continuously works to promote SaskTel as one of Saskatchewan top employers.
10.Develops and sustains partnerships with organizations to advance SaskTel’s diversity initiatives, talent recruitment efforts, and student programs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Post-secondary education in Business Administration (majoring in HR management) and/or at least one year of relevant experience. CPHR
designation is an asset.
2. General knowledge of human resources best practices, employment laws, and policies.
3. General knowledge of diversity, employment equity and inclusion practices.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain open and honest relationships with a diverse group of individuals.
5. Demonstrated computer skills, including the use of Microsoft products, databases, and various applications.
6. Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and provide accurate and timely information in a fast-paced environment.
7. Experience leveraging AI tools and maintaining applicant tracking systems is an asset.
8. Proficient in public speaking and delivering presentations.

Driving valuable customer experiences and employee engagement, improving sustainability, and demonstrates commitment to the communities that we serve. 

 

This is an on-site position located at the location(s) above. The successful candidate must be located within the province of Saskatchewan. Out of province/country candidates must be willing to relocate. Flexible work opportunities, in province, may be available.
