Client Technology Manager-Enterprise AI Solutions

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountable for providing expert technical leadership in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise AI solutions. Serves as a technical authority, translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and innovative AI applications. Provides consultative expertise to cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with organizational strategy and industry best practices.

 

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Designs, develops, and delivers complete AI applications, owning the full lifecycle from architecture and coding through integration, testing, deployment, and optimization. Ensures solutions meet SaskTel’s standards for scalability, security, and customer experience.
2. Designs, implements, and optimizes autonomous AI workflows that orchestrate tasks, adapt to evolving requirements, and support continuous improvement.
3. Oversees backlog management, sprint planning, demos, and post-launch optimization, with a focus on continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.
4. Drives change within the organization, making decisions related to leadership, business, and technology that influence strategic plans and programs affecting SaskTel’s business.
5. Ensures comprehensive KPI instrumentation and outcome reporting, delivering professional reports and presentations for senior management decision-making.

 

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in enterprise architecture and AI solution delivery.
2. Minimum of five years of experience in software/AI engineering or product delivery, with hands-on experience in enterprise AI platforms (cloud-based and/or on-premise).
3. Demonstrated experience building agentic AI solutions (e.g., workflow automation, orchestration, multi-agent systems, or autonomous task execution).
4. Proven track record of delivering AI solutions in an agile, iterative environment.
5. Knowledge of the Telco industry, SaskTel departments/subsidiaries organization structures, operations and relationships.
6. Strong understanding of Responsible AI, privacy, and compliance requirements.
7. Ability to rapidly learn and integrate new AI platforms and tools as organizational strategy evolves.
8. Experience with KPI tracking, outcome measurement, and continuous improvement.

  • Responsible for negotiation, execution and/or enforcement of contracts for obtaining goods and services related to the area of responsibility. 
  • Accountable for proactively identifying, inspiring, and acting on opportunities to innovate and drive process improvements, develop growth initiatives, and improve revenue and/or reduce costs. Driving valuable customer experiences and employee engagement, improving sustainability, and demonstrates commitment to the communities that we serve. 

 

This is an on-site position located at the location(s) above. The successful candidate must be located within the province of Saskatchewan. Out of province/country candidates must be willing to relocate. Flexible work opportunities, in province, may be available.
