Salary: $26.52/hour plus opportunity to earn additional sales incentives.

JOB SUMMARY
Represents the Corporation in various types of sales incented residential and small business customer contacts. Provides an exceptional customer experience, representing customers best interests. Determines customers needs and requirements, recommends solutions, and finalizes the sale of products and/or services. Completes internal work and procedures to ensure the experience is positive.


TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
(Not all inclusive or applicable to all assignments)
1. Persuasively promotes the sale of products and/or services on an initiated and/or demand basis in a competitive environment in order to meet sales targets.
2. Determines customer needs and recommends solutions to the customer, utilizing support personnel as required.
3. Reviews customer contracts and educates/informs customers about their services.
4. Handles all customer inquires/complaints and resolves issues in a timely, professional manner in order to meet customer service and productivity targets, and positively contributes to customer survey results.
5. Arranges customer security deposits.
6. Captures customer requirements, reviews customer request work orders for accuracy, and adjusts/corrects errors and/or omissions on customer accounts.
7. Participates in sales campaigns and retention activities on an initiated and/or demand basis.
8. Assists other internal departments as required.


QUALIFICATIONS
1. Working knowledge of techniques needed to persuasively promote the sale of products and/ or services.
2. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence, persuade, and deal effectively with others in conflict situations.
3. Good written communication skills.
4. Working knowledge of SaskTel s products and services.
5. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
6. Working knowledge of personal computers andvarious software applications.
7. Ability to multi-task.
8. Ability to work under continual pressure, and adapt to a constantly changing work environment.
9. Keyboarding skills 20 WPM.
10.Successful completion of prescribed training courses.

SPECIFICATIONS
1. Occasional overtime may be requested.
2. Works shifts as per the Collective Agreement.
3. Neat appearance and appropriate business attire is necessary.
4. Occasional travel may be requested.
5. Complies with all safety, health, and environmental policies, programs, and standards at all times.
