JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for tracking, forecasting, ordering, handling, shipping, receiving, storing and distributing all materials for a district warehouse. Provides support to sub-district locations as required. Monitors all inventory levels. Performs related duties.

TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
(Not all inclusive or applicable to all assignments)

1. Responsible for tracking, forecasting, ordering, handling, shipping, receiving, storing, reconciling and distributing all materials for a district warehouse including customer purchased equipment.  Delivers material and/or equipment to customer premise as required.
2. Processes material requests from district and sub-district locations utilizing SAP (Material Management) System.
3. Provides support to Customer Services relating to backorders, discrepancies, availability of material, ordering, reviewing and issuing of credits, network reservations, goods issues and tracking of cable and reels.
4. Provides shipping/receiving support for district and sub-district locations.  Inspects, verifies and records supplies received from Provincial Warehouse and field forces.
5. Prepares paperwork related to warehouse (i.e. weigh bills, bus lading forms and material requisitions/return/transfer forms).  Responsible for sales and salvage of material.
6. Receives and resolves internal and external customer inquiries.
7. Loads and unloads material from trucks ensuring all documentation is correct. Records any damages/shortages on Delivery Slips.
8. Enters Goods Receipts on-line and slots all incoming equipment and puts into stock. Investigates discrepancies in warehouse stock shipments and maintains on-line Receiving Problem Log. Works with the Purchasing Department and/or external suppliers on the resolution of those discrepancies.
9. Responsible for the administration of shared tools and test equipment within the district.
10. Provides storage and shipment of Project Material for external/internal clients.
11. Performs stock count and resolves discrepancies.
12. Adjusts inventory levels to meet seasonal and customer demands.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Working knowledge of SAP (Material Management) System.
2. General knowledge of personal computers and various software applications.
3. Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
4. General knowledge of SaskTel products, services and procedures.
5. Mathematical aptitude
6. Ability to plan and organize in a self-directed environment.
7. A valid driver license.
